A Couple Of Things I'd Like to Get Off My Chest

Honoring and remembering those who gave their lives eight years ago today and those who actively and honorably serve our country.

Deb Baer Becker: An American woman living in Texas, United States; I started this blog in 2009 when I was diagnosed with lobular invasive breast cancer, stage IIB, with one affected lymph node. Treatment included chemo-therapy, double mastectomy with reconstruction, radiation, and the adjuvant therapy drugs, first Tamoxifen and now Exesmestane, which I call the Bitch Pill. Writing this blog helped me make sense out of the chaos of cancer diagnosis and treatment, and find a bit of humor within the suffering. Five years later, I find that survivorship has its own challenges and triumphs. We're all survivors of something, or maybe many things. I hope that my blog posts translate help to anyone who finds herself knotted up in this great adventure we call Life. This is my intention.
